Lady Scots remain unbeaten in GSAC play

MARYVILLE -- With Homecoming in the air at Maryville College, the Lady Scots volleyball team managed to remain unbeaten in the Great South Athletic Conference (GSAC). With a 25-12, 25-6, and 25-14 victory over the LaGrange Panthers, followed by a 25-7, 25-13, and 25-10 victory over the Spelman Jaguars, the Lady Scots move their record to 8-0 in the GSAC.

Kristen Findley led the way, amassing 17 kills on the night. With those kills, Findley surpasses the 350 kill mark, extending her kill lead in the GSAC. Findley now stands with 353 kills on the 2011 season, while accumulating 16 double-doubles on the season.

Findley finished with seven kills on eight attempts for a .875 kill percentage. Strickland added six kills of her own, while Kristy Newman, Doniqua Flack , and Merrill each used five kills.

Lind amassed 22 assists, while Morgan Hall dished out five. Kristen Sharp added five service aces in an offensive attack, while Lauren Bonee grabbed four. Sharp also added with nine digs, while Mallory Bonee finished with seven.
