MEMPHIS, TN — In response to recent debate and charity challenge discussions, the Jerri Green for Governor campaign has released the following statement from Jerri Green:

Jerri Green has consistently made her own calls for Marsha Blackburn to debate, urging her to step up and answer directly to voters. This challenge comes as momentum continues to build for the campaign following new polling that shows Jerri is rapidly closing in on Marsha’s numbers, while other independents in the race are consistently polling at only 10%, with most at 1%.

To ensure voters across Tennessee hear directly from the candidates, the Jerri Green for Governor campaign has put forward four proposed debate dates across the state, with exact venue locations to be announced:

• September 30, 2026: Brentwood, TN
• October 3, 2026: Nashville, TN
• October 9, 2026: Memphis, TN
• October 16, 2026: Knoxville, TN

Since launching her campaign for governor, Jerri Green has been constantly on the road meeting with Tennesseans. To date, she has made close to 200 stops across the Volunteer State, listening to voters and discussing the issues that matter most to Tennessee families.
