KNOXVILLE - The Knoxville Fire Department (KFD) is promoting 11 Fire Officers and 13 Master Firefighters. KFD invites the public to attend the promotion ceremony at 6:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Bijou Theatre, 803 Gay Street, Knoxville, TN 37902.

The ceremony will be officiated by Mayor Indya Kincannon and Fire Chief Stan Sharp, who will honor the recipients for their leadership, professionalism, and commitment to protecting the residents of Knoxville.

"We are incredibly proud of these firefighters who have shown exceptional dedication to their profession and our community," said Chief Sharp. "Their hard work and leadership will strengthen our department and support our mission of providing exceptional emergency services to Knoxville."

Family, friends, and community members are invited to attend to support these newly promoted firefighters as they take on greater responsibilities in serving the city.
