Grandparents As Parents Holding School Supplies Drive

KNOXVILLE - The Grandparents as Parents program needs donations of school supplies. Donations can be dropped off at various locations during the month of July.
Items needed include:

Plastic Folders Glue Sticks Pencil Boxes Ziploc Bags Tissue Boxes Backpacks with Computer Compartments |
Items can be dropped of at O'Connor Senior Center or any Knox County Senior Center:
• O'Connor Senior Center - 611 Winona Street
• Carter Senior Center - 9040 Asheville Highway
• Corryton Senior Center - 9331 Davis Road
• Halls Senior Center - 4405 Crippen Road
• Karns Senior Center - 8042 Oak Ridge Highway
• South Knoxville Senior Center - 6729 Martel Lane West
• Knox Senior Center - 239 Jamestown Blvd. Suite 101
Donations will be accepted through July 31.
Grandparents as Parents is a program of the CAC Office on Aging dedicated to creating a sense of community for grandparents and other relative caregivers. The program offers support, information, and connections to vital services—reminding caregivers that they are not alone.
Grandparents as Parents provides:

• Monthly newsletter
• Community outreach
• Case management
• Information and referrals
