KNOXVILLE - Last evening at 10:46 pm, it was reported to Knox County Comm District that a neighbor's house was on fire on South Castle Street and Wilson Avenue.

Upon arrival of the first crew, they saw flames coming out of the front window and the front part of the home. They were able to make an interior attack on the fire and get it under control within 30 minutes of being dispatched.

The home was empty, and it didn't seem as if anyone was living there.

The house suffered severe fire damage to the front of the home and a lot of smoke and water damage to the rest of the home.

No injuries to firefighters were reported.
