“Covenant Health Urgent Care clinics offer individuals and families access to timely medical treatment in convenient locations, reducing healthcare costs and saving emergency department resources for the most serious cases,” Covenant Health CEO Jim VanderSteeg said. “This Cumberland Avenue location reflects our commitment to provide the right care at the right time in the right place.”
Covenant Health operates seven other Urgent Care locations, including Farragut, Maryville North, Maryville South, North Knoxville, Northshore, Sevierville and South Knoxville. An additional location is planned for Hardin Valley later this year.
Covenant Health has made several key investments to enhance and broaden access to high-quality patient care throughout its 25-county service area as part of its mission to improve quality of life in the region through better health. Beyond expanding access to urgent care, the hospital system recently broke ground on a new medical campus at Springbrook in Alcoa with plans to open early next year.
