House Fire at 2030 Lawson Avenue

KNOXVILLE - At approximately 12:20 a.m., the Knox County Communications District received a call reporting a house fire at 2030 Lawson Ave.

When the first crew arrived, they observed heavy smoke coming from the top of the home. The engine company quickly attacked the fire, and by 12:30 a.m., the fire was under control.

The home sustained fire, smoke, and water damage and is considered uninhabitable. The occupants were home at the time of the fire, but everyone escaped safely without injury. No firefighter injuries were reported.
