Fire at Campbell's Pool & Spa Causes Roof Damage

KNOXVILLE - At approximately 11:05 p.m. last evening, the Knox County Communications District received a call reporting smoke and flames coming from a building at Campbell’s Pool & Spa.

When the first crews arrived at 3501 Workman Road, they found smoke and fire showing from the structure. Firefighters initially entered the building to begin suppression efforts, while other crews set up a ladder truck to attack the fire on the roof.

Most of the fire was concentrated on top of the structure. Firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze and had it under control within 20 minutes, preventing it from spreading. Crews remained on scene to check for fire extension.

The business was closed at the time, and no occupants were inside. The structure sustained heavy smoke and water damage, along with fire damage to the roof. No firefighter injuries were reported.

KFD investigators remained on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
