KNOXVILLE - The City of Knoxville and Knoxville-Knox County Planning are embarking on an update to the City’s Comprehensive Plan named What’s Next Knoxville?
The Comprehensive Plan is a long-range policy document that determines the vision and goals for development in the city over the next 25 years, guiding decisions on land use, transportation, and investment priorities.
This spring, the project team hired Interface Studio, a planning and design firm to assist with the project. A project website has been set up at www.WhatsNextKnoxville.com to serve as an information resource.
Additionally, What’s Next Knoxville is hosting a series of listening sessions later this month to better understand what residents envision for the city’s future. Anyone interested can drop in at their convenience.
