KNOXVILLE - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), in partnership with Defend Systems, is hosting a free community training event in Knoxville focused on increasing awareness of and response to active shooter threats. This dynamic session will examine real-world incidents to highlight the importance of having a well-prepared plan to improve survivability during such emergencies.

Attendees will gain valuable knowledge on how to enhance the safety of existing facilities, boost overall emergency preparedness, understand critical response procedures, and recognize pre-attack indicators. The training aims to equip community members with practical strategies to respond effectively in crises.
