KNOXVILLE - The Internal Revenue Service will conduct a public auction of four vacant lots in Lake Tansi Village in Cumberland County, Tenn., on May 6, 2026, as a result of seized property for nonpayment of internal revenue taxes due.

The IRS auction of the properties will be held outside the Cumberland County Courthouse, 2 North Main St., Crossville, TN 38555, at the gazebo at 10 a.m., with registration at 9 a.m.

The Lake Tansi Village properties for auction are:

For the properties, 100 percent of the highest bid is due at time of sale. Mail-in bids are due by April 30, 2026.

All payments must be by cash, a certified, cashier’s, or treasurer’s check drawn on any bank or trust company incorporated under the laws of the United States or under the laws of any State, Territory, or possession of the United States, or by a United States postal, bank, or express money order. Make check or money order payable to the United States Treasury.
