KNOXVILLE - Early this morning, at approximately 3:30 AM, the KCCD received a call reporting a house fire at 108 Lynnview Drive. Upon arrival, the first responding crew found the front side of the home fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked diligently, and by 3:54 AM, the main fire was extinguished. Crews remain on the scene to address and extinguish remaining hotspots to prevent rekindling.

The home has been declared a total loss due to extensive fire damage. Fortunately, the sole occupant who was inside at the time managed to evacuate safely, and no pets were present. There are no reported injuries to either the resident or the responding firefighters. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
