House fire at 2105 Mississippi Ave

KNOXVILLE - At approximately 10:20 am, Knox County 911 Communications Center received a call for a house on fire. When units arrived, they found a vacant house on fire in the rear on the second floor. Crews quickly entered the home and made a primary search while extinguishing the fire.

It took some time to put the fire out due to the condition of the home. No one lived in the house and there were no injuries reported. Crews are on scene overhauling and checking for hot spots.
