June 16, 2021

KNOX COUNTY - Judson Mason will seek the Knox County Commission seat in District 7. Judson announced his campaign on May 3 of this year. The campaign held a well-attended launch event at the Bailey Barn in Powell with over 120 supporters rallying behind the candidate.

“Having a commissioner that is accessible to the residents of this community is what our neighbors deserve”, said Judson. “Our community can be better with someone in office who is focused on hard work and serving others”

Judson believes that a local government official is elected for one purpose only: to serve others. Judson is running a campaign that focuses on listening to others and what they need to make their communities better. He expresses intentions to be a public servant who always listens to his constituents' needs.

After being adopted at a young age, Judson is a third-generation resident of his district. He graduated from high school in his district, going on to earn a degree in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Judson built his career and recently built his first home in the district with his wife Emily. The couple’s roots to the Powell, Halls and Heiskell communities go deep, and together they are now on a mission to make a difference in their community.

Judson is committed to be a commissioner who works for everyone, regardless of belief or political ideology. He believes that everyone in his community deserves a voice in their local government and he is willing to put in the work to be that voice. Calling on his community to join together and build a better community is Judson’s mantra because, together, people can make an incredible difference in the place they call home.

Judson’s next event will be a meet and greet at Maker’s Donuts from 9:00AM – 11:00AM on Saturday, June 26th. The event is open to the community and each guest will receive one free donut.
