Tennessee National Guard aircrew rescues stroke victim at Clingmans Dome

On Thursday, April 15, A Tennessee Army National Guard medical flight crew performed an emergency air evacuation mission after a hiker suffered a stroke while on the Appalachian Trail in Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
The flight crew successfully transported the patient to UT Medical Center in Knoxville.
