KNOXVILLE - Knoxville Center Mall will close its doors for business on January 31, 2020. This decision was not an easy one to make. The ownership of the property has determined that in order to create a space that Knoxville deserves the mall must be closed for redevelopment. The last remaining anchor tenant is scheduled to close in mid-November 2019.

Tenants have been provided with written notice that their leases will be terminated no later than January 31, 2020. They are free to operate in their location up to January 31, 2020.

Knoxville Center Mall, previously known as East Towne Mall, opened to the public in 1984. The space has served the community for the last 35 years, and ownership has appreciated the business of its tenants and the community. Updates regarding next steps for the property will be provided when available.
