KNOXVILLE – Local residents Felecia Anderson and Kimberly Elmer recently traveled to Austin, Texas, to receive their diplomas at WGU's fall commencement. Anderson earned her Bachelor of Science in health information management, and Elmer earned her Bachelor of Science in software development.

Watching our graduates like Felecia and Kimberly accept their diplomas after all of their dedication and hard work is a proud moment for everyone at WGU Tennessee,” said Dr. Kimberly K. Estep, chancellor of WGU Tennessee. “Each and every one of our students works hard, both in and out of their degree program, and the commencement is a celebration of their accomplishments. This is a monumental time in their lives, and we are honored to be a part of it.”

WGU Tennessee is an online, nonprofit university formed in 2013 through a partnership between the state of Tennessee and nationally recognized Western Governors. Graduates are welcome to attend any of the WGU commencements held around the country.
