PIGEON FORGE, TN -- Ripken Baseball has announced its annual ambassador speaker series lineup for the 2018 week-long tournament season at The Ripken Experience baseball and softball complex located in Pigeon Forge. The star-studded tournament ambassador series will offer week-long participants the opportunity to meet legends of the game and hear stories and life lessons based on their professional experiences.

New to this years ambassador series lineup includes Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith, World Series champions Ken Griffey Sr., Tino Martinez, Trot Nixon and Reggie Sanders, as well as former MLB and NFL star, Brian Jordan. In addition, Bill and Cal Ripken will make an appearance at each of the three complexes.
"On or off the field, to develop good work habits and learn what it takes to achieve success, young people must surround themselves with those who will teach and empower you," said John Bramlette, Ripken Baseballs Executive Vice President, Amateur Baseball and Growth. "We know that former MLB players have perspectives to share that will teach and empower the players, coaches and families who join us at The Ripken Experience next summer."

The Ripken Experience complexes provide the best in class baseball and softball tournament experiences to a wide range of age groups and ability levels, as well as family destination options beyond the ball field. Each complex features state-of-the-art playing fields with designs mimicking iconic and historic professional ballparks throughout the country.
The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge includes six lighted youth turf fields. Each field includes its own set of batting cages, bullpens, scoreboard, and a picturesque front porch view of the Great Smoky Mountains.
