Sevierville Chamber tourism ads advanced to National American Advertising Awards®

SEVIERVILLE, TN – The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce recently earned ten awards at the 50th Annual Knoxville American Advertising Awards® banquet. Three entries advanced to the District 7 Awards Gala. The District 7 competition showcased top award winning agencies from five states, representing cities including Atlanta, Savannah, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Memphis, New Orleans and Nashville. The advancing entries from the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce included the Sevierville Coupon Book cover, a Sevierville Winterfest print advertisement, and the photography used on the Sevierville Vacation Planner cover. The Winterfest print advertisement earned a District 7 Silver American Advertising Award and advanced on to the National Competition. All art work submitted was created by Sevierville Chamber of Commerce art director, Chad Branton.
“Chad’s work is top notch. He consistently produces appealing images and messages that resonate with our visitors and help drive inquiries and vacationers through our advertising campaigns,” says Sevierville Chamber of Commerce CEO Brenda McCroskey. “It was very gratifying that the advertising campaigns our organization produces for the City of Sevierville were recognized at the local and regional levels by the American Advertising Federation and have now advanced to the national level of the competition.”
Branton adds, “It was great to be recognized once again by the American Advertising Federation alongside such great talent in the local, regional and national advertising communities. Being recognized by AAF District 7 was a huge honor for us, as was advancing to the national level of the competition this year.”
Sevierville earned the following awards from the American Advertising Federation in this year’s competitions.
