FBI asks for help identifying man who placed suspicious package near federal building

KNOXVILLE -- Federal Bureau of Investigation, Knoxville division, and the Chattanooga Police Department are asking for the public's assistance with the identification of an individual suspected of leaving a package outside a United States Bankruptcy Court building on Friday, August 12th.





At 12:28 p.m yesterday. the suspect placed a package at the handicapped entrance of the United States Bankruptcy Court in Chattanooga. The suspect was wearing a navy blue New York Yankees baseball cap with the bill facing backwards, and a black, red, and white sleeveless jersey shirt with the word "ZOOYORK" emblazoned on the front. He was also wearing a long-sleeve, navy blue shirt underneath the jersey.

The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this individual. Anyone with information should contact the Knoxville Division of the FBI at 865-544-0751, or the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
