Home Federal helps feed hungry

A new program, Eats for Easter, helps to feed women in crisis and families in transition. Sponsored by the YMCA and YWCA of Knoxville, $10,000 in Food City gift cards was provided by Home Federal Bank.

This donation by Home Federal will assist approximately 200 families needing urgent help.

As part of the launch of the program, Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett proclaimed the day Helping Hand Day.
