SEVIERVILLE, TN - Tanger Outlets Sevierville invites the community to experience its Grand Reopening this Mother’s Day weekend, marking the completion of a multi-phase, center-wide renovation that enhances the destination for shopping, dining and connection. The updates introduce new ways for guests to gather, relax and enjoy their time at the center.

The yearlong transformation brings modernized exteriors, refreshed landscaping and design details inspired by the Great Smoky Mountains. Together, these updates create a more cohesive and comfortable environment for both locals and the millions of visitors who travel to Sevier County each year.

To commemorate the milestone, Tanger Sevierville will host a Grand Reopening celebration Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The weekend will feature live music from local artists, interactive stations and special Mother’s Day-inspired experiences. Guests will find festive giveaways, retailer offers and immersive moments like Tanger’s signature “Catch the Savings” experience, alongside all-day entertainment that brings energy and excitement to the enhanced center.

The completed renovation introduces a series of upgrades across the 455,000-square-foot property, including refreshed storefronts, updated signage, new lighting and revitalized landscaping that add warmth and vibrancy throughout the center. Guests will discover newly created pocket parks, shaded seating areas and firepit lounges that offer comfortable places to relax between shopping. A new family-friendly play area adds to the center’s appeal as a destination for all ages, while enhanced hardscape elements and improved walkways create a more seamless experience for guests.

As part of the transformation, Tanger Sevierville has also integrated art and storytelling. A large-scale mural inspired by the Great Smoky Mountains, created by local artist Shane Sanberg, brings a sense of place and craftsmanship, while whimsical woodland animal sculptures woven throughout the property celebrate the region’s natural beauty and add moments of discovery for visitors.

The refreshed center experience is complemented by continued retail momentum, including the addition of Sephora and Buckle, along with recent store enhancements and expansions from brands like Nike, vineyard vines and Skechers. Together, these updates further position Tanger Sevierville as a leading destination for fashion, beauty and lifestyle shopping in the region.
