KNOXVILLE - In recognition of its annual Week of Service, Renewal by Andersen Knoxville is partnering with Helping Mamas Knoxville to host a community-wide diaper drive supporting local families in need.
The event runs now through April 25. A standalone drop-off event will be held on Saturday, April 25, at The Pinnacle Shopping Center in Turkey Creek, 1828 Midpark Road, Suite G, Knoxville, TN 3792 (Renewal by Andersen Knoxville); 11251 Parkside Dr., Knoxville (The Pinnacle Shopping Center in Turkey Creek).
Serving as a drop-off location, the diaper drive is part of Renewal by Andersen’s broader Week of Service initiative, taking place the week of April 23, during which employees give back to the communities they serve.
Helping Mamas Knoxville works to provide necessities to families facing hardship, distributing diapers and hygiene products that are not covered by government assistance programs. With many households continuing to feel the impact of inflation, the need for these items has grown significantly, leaving many parents forced to choose between diapers and other essentials.
How to Help:
Community members are encouraged to donate new, unopened diapers, wipes, and baby essentials at the drop-off location, The Pinnacle Shopping Center. Community support is essential to helping local mothers meet their children’s basic needs to maintain health, dignity, and stability during challenging economic times.
