McNabb Center Kicks off Christmas in July Toy Drive Event
July 8, 2026

The McNabb Center’s Christmas in July Toy Drive has kicked off to stock its Christmas closet full of toys. Now running in its eighth year, the event benefits the Dear Santa program and enables the community to donate to children and families who may be struggling this holiday season. Last year, more than 1,400 child clients of the McNabb Center and their siblings received gifts donated through Christmas in July toy drives and the Dear Santa program.

“Christmas in July allows the McNabb Center to fill up its toy closets now and give those toys gifts in December to clients who have needs for the basic necessities. Many children without the Dear Santa program would not receive gifts during the holiday season. Thank you to our friends and neighbors who give back – you are making a world of difference to a child,” said Amy Fellhoelter, community relations coordinator for the McNabb Center.

The McNabb Center is partnering with ORNL Federal Credit Union and Knoxville Law Enforcement Federal Credit Union in Knoxville. From July 1 until July 31, these locations will have toy donation boxes for individuals to contribute new, unwrapped toys and clothing for children ages 0-18. For a detailed drop-off location list, please visit Christmas in July | Helen Ross McNabb Foundation

Community members are encouraged to utilize the Dear Santa Amazon Wish Lists or drop off gifts directly at the McNabb Center. Call Amy Fellhoelter at (865) 637-9711 ext. 1155 to or email amy.fellhoelter@mcnabb.org to schedule a donation drop-off appointment.
