Celebrate Land Trust Day at Mast General Store

KNOXVILLE - Foothills Land Conservancy (FLC) is teaming up with Mast General Store for a free family-friendly Land Trust Day event on Saturday, June 6 where customers can learn about native wildflowers and contribute to land stewardship.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mast General Store, 402 S. Gay St., Knoxville, TN 37902

Throughout the day, 20% of sales at the Knoxville Mast General Store will benefit FLC and its work protecting East Tennessee farms, forests, waterways, wildlife habitat and scenic landscapes.

Land Trust Day benefiting FLC; staff will host an interactive native wildflower planting station inside the store, where participants of all ages can plant and take home their own biodegradable peat pot or receive a packet of native wildflower seed mix. Guests who visit the FLC planting station may also enter for a chance to win a $50 Mast General Store gift card.

The event will celebrate the support of regional land conservation efforts, as well as teaching the younger generation about the benefits of planting native wildflowers for pollinators and overall environmental health, plus, how land trusts preserve the health and heritage of natural spaces. 

Mast General Store customers can also participate in a special “Round Up Week” fundraiser the week ahead of Land Trust Day (June 1-7) by choosing to round up their purchase total to the nearest dollar, with proceeds supporting FLC’s regional conservation programs.
