Summer is just around the corner, and that means it’s almost time for First Lady Maria Lee’s 8th Annual Tennessee Kids Serve Summer Challenge! Every year, the First Lady invites Tennessee students to spend a part of their summer break giving back to their communities through this fun and meaningful challenge.
The challenge welcomes rising kindergarteners through rising sixth graders to participate from June 1st to August 1st. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to develop a heart for service by dedicating some of their free time to helping others.
All students who complete the challenge will earn a special certificate of recognition, signed by First Lady Maria Lee herself! Plus, the top participants will be invited to join the Governor and First Lady for a festive carnival at the Tennessee Residence in September.
It’s a fantastic way for kids to make a difference, learn about community spirit, and have fun all summer long. So, get ready to jump in and serve Tennessee this summer!
