KNOXVILLE -- Tate Williams is a huge University of Tennessee supporter, and last weekend the Sequoyah Elementary student got to live a Vol fan's dream!
Williams lives with syringomyelia, intracranial hypertension, and tethered cord syndrome, and has endured four brain surgeries and a spinal cord surgery since March 2020.
With support from UT and Dream On 3 a national non-profit, he attended football practice on Thursday, a tour of UT's athletic facilities on Friday and spent time on the sideline at Saturday's game. On Friday morning, Smokey and UT cheerleaders visited Sequoyah for a special send-off.
Congratulations, Tate!
