CLEVELAND, TN -- Remember Me Senior Care, a highly anticipated farmhouse-style assisted living and memory care neighborhood, is now open in Cleveland, Tennessee. The community is comprised of five individual homes located just off of North Lee Highway.
In 2015, local brothers/owners Tracy Sneed and Andy Sneed had a vision for a senior care community after their mother, Anne, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Over her 13-year journey with Alzheimer’s Disease, they recognized that there was a great need for care, services, and education regarding this disease. Because of their experience, developing RMSC was a personal and purposeful way to change the way people perceive assisted living and dementia care.
”We are thrilled to finally be able to serve the community and to offer a new concept in care for those living with dementia and those needing help with activities of daily living,” Tracy Sneed, co-founder said. “It has been a labor of love, and we want to thank everyone that has given their heart, soul and mind to bring Remember Me Senior Care to life. We are already seeing amazing results and receiving very positive feedback from our resident families. We are so blessed to have this opportunity.”
The private residential rooms are now available for senior adults needing assistance with daily care and those who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. The third home is now open for residents.
“Remember Me Senior Care delivers in areas where the industry as a whole has failed for years,” Andy Sneed, co-founder said. “We deliver the care that our residents deserve, and family members can finally be family members again. Our staff isn’t constantly downtrodden and exhausted due to poor staffing conditions, because we’ve pledged to adequately staff our community. There is a spirit of teamwork and caring that I’ve absolutely never seen before in any work setting. The result is that they can truly give 100% care and effort every day to our residents and resident families. We believe that this is the mentality that will turn the senior living industry on its ear: Love, serve, and always do the right thing.”
The community hosted a private grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the families, team members and residents who will receive care at RMSC. Community partners include Solinity Services, DKLEVY Architectural Firm, Diaz Fritz Construction Group, Z-Creative Interior Design, Boston Uncommon Signs, and Andrew Johnson Bank.
