Morning Pointe Senior Living strives to create engaging and meaningful activities for residents every day. Many of those activities involve community friends and partners that volunteer their time.
At Morning Pointe of Knoxville, volunteering means a lot. It's an especially exciting day when University of Tennessee students come by for a day of fun. You'll often find student volunteers joining a game of bingo, sitting with a resident as they share life stories or crafting up door decorations.
Recently, student volunteers came by for a few brain exercises. They led residents in math equations, comprehensive reading prompts and a bit of trivia! These exercises keep our minds sharp and really get us thinking.
Morning Pointe of Knoxville is grateful for its friends with the University of Tennessee. Residents cannot wait for their next visit! Morning Pointe Senior Living encourages folks interested in volunteering to stop by a local community and see how they can get involved.
