Morning Pointe Senior Living communities know how important it is to give back to those around them. Each building has a group or company they spend time with. From local charities to philanthropy groups and public service organizations, there's always a way to give back.
A Morning Pointe of Knoxville resident recently decided to donate her time and resources to the Helping Mamas nonprofit. Pat knitted several baby blankets to support moms and families in need.
Helping Mamas of Knoxville collects all sorts of items for growing children, like pacifiers, clothing, toys, and more. They distribute these items to 39 partner agencies and from there, caseworkers that serve low-income women will take what is needed! It helps mothers so they can focus on their jobs, education and staying healthy for both the baby and themselves.
Pat was honored to contribute to this great organization and she can't wait to donate more in the future! |
