Hardin Valley Academy Athletic Council to hold fundraiser

KNOXVILLE -- The Hardin Valley Academy Athletic Council (HVAAC) is excited to announce its first annual fundraising gala to support athletic facility improvements across the Hardin Valley elementary, middle and high school campuses.

“As the Hardin Valley district continues to grow, we are seeing more and more amazing athletes of all ages participating in sports at all levels,” said Paul Rome, HVAAC president. “This gala will help raise funds to keep the athletic facilities top notch and ensure these children have memorable experiences.”

HVAAC has a wish list of athletic facility improvements that will benefit the entire community as HVA is the home for athletic events for a variety of sports for numerous age groups.

The black tie optional HVAAC Gala will be held Saturday, Aug. 27th at Bridgewater Place. The event is for adults, ages 21 and older, and begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $150 for individuals or $200 for a couple. The evening will feature dinner, drinks, live music and a silent auction.

The Hardin Valley Academy Athletic Council is a voluntary organization designed to support, promote, and encourage the student-athletes and athletic programs of Hardin Valley Academy. This organization has a well-defined structure with leadership and support positions that are staffed by volunteers (typically parents of student-athletes) that work diligently to make this organization a success.
