MARYVILLE - The community is invited to support the 2021 Russell Biven Clayfest on Friday, August 6 & Saturday, August 7 at Chilhowee Sportsman’s Club in Blount County.

Russell Biven hosts the tournament to benefit mental health, substance use and social services in East Tennessee provided by the McNabb Center. Russell spends time during the event speaking to participants and partaking in the activities.

Clayfest includes two flights on Friday and a morning flight on Saturday. Participants receive lunch from Dead End BBQ, a goody bag, an event t-shirt and use of a golf cart. Individual and team prizes are awarded after each flight.

Russell invites participants and volunteers to come out and support the Center.

“Clayfest is especially important this year as the need for mental health services continues to grow,” Russell said. “Come join us in busting some clays for an excellent cause.”

Russell Biven Clayfest is presented by Cherokee Distributing in memory of Herb Ogle, a longtime friend and supporter of the McNabb Center. Herb was active in the Russell Biven Clayfest and served as an event committee member for many years.
