Positively Living & Choice Health Network providers are now welcoming patients at its new, expanded location at 1925 Ailor Ave., near downtown Knoxville.

The clinic, which previously was located on Hill Avenue, continues to serve the area’s most vulnerable individuals and families affected by HIV, mental illness, substance use, homelessness and LBGTQ+ discrimination.

“Providing equitable access to healthcare in our community is of utmost importance to Positively Living & Choice Health Network,” said Steve Jenkins, CEO. “This new facility and pharmacy will ensure patients can be treated with compassion and convenience. I would like to thank all the supporters and staff who have made this move possible. It’s a great moment for us as we strive to empower, promote and inspire wellness.”

The Knoxville clinic offers HIV prevention, testing and treatment services as well as a full-service pharmacy. For patients seeking to prevent and treat HIV, the clinic also provides primary and infectious disease care; mental health counseling and therapy; and food, housing and transportation aid. Choice Health Network Harm Reduction services also are offered at the site. For additional information, visit choicehealthnetwork.org/services.

The facility offers a telemedicine suite where patients can begin telehealth visits for a variety of needs, including mental health, and then continue care remotely or use the suite for subsequent visits if the patient does not have access to adequate privacy, connectivity or technology.

“Our telemedicine suite gives patients the privacy and access many require, and offering an on-site pharmacy allows our patients to obtain the medication they need from providers they trust right after an appointment,” Jenkins said. “We want to remove all barriers for those seeking our care.”
