Fly tying class

NORRIS, TN - Mark your calendar for introductory fly tying classes to be held at the Episcopal Church in Norris starting Saturday, January 15th. All classes will be at the church and will start at 9:00 am and last until 12:00 noon. All materials and tools will be provided by the chapter.

Experienced tyers will be demonstrating each fly along with experienced tyers providing one on one help in the class. You will learn to tie (9) nine different patterns over the course of (6) six weeks.

The course will run from January 15th through February 26th. In the event of a snow day we have scheduled the 5th of March as a make up day. In this class you will learn techniques that will give you the ability to tie many other styles and types of flies to fish tail waters and our mountain streams.

The cost of the (6) six week class is $125.00 per person. This makes a great Christmas gift for that angler that has thought they would like to tie their own flies but maybe isn't sure how or where to start.
