WIVK raises over $297,000 for St. Jude Kids Radiothon

KNOXVILLE - WIVK partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon hosted by Tony and Kris.

With the generous donations of listeners across East Tennessee, WIVK was able to raise over $297,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in just two days. The donations received during the St. Jude Radiothon go directly to St. Jude in helping them fight childhood cancer and continuing to lead the way in cancer research.

WIVK teamed up with Dollywood to offer a pair of free Dollywood tickets to each new Partner in Hope during the Radiothon. Local business stepped up to show their support, they include Delta Dental, Holli McCray Real Estate, Your Home Sold Guaranteed Realty, Knoxville Diversified Screen Enclosures, Kevin Faddis and the Knoxville Firefighters Association who made a $20,000 donation.

WIVK is proud to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the annual Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon and is ecstatic that 2020 was a big success, despite the tough challenges we all faced this year.
