KNOXVILLE - A proud tradition among University of Tennessee fans returns this season. Food City, the official supermarket of the Vols, is proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of the "At Home Volgater of the Game."

While tailgating restrictions are in place on the UT campus this season due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the University of Tennessee and Food City are excited to introduce the new At Home Volgater of the Game beginning this Saturday as the Vols take on the Missouri Tigers at noon ET (SEC Network).

Before each home and away game, starting Fridays at noon ET/11 a.m. CT, fans can submit creative photos and videos of their "Volgating" celebration at home featuring Food City and Coca-Cola products to UTsports.com/FoodCityVolgater. One Volgater of the Game will be selected on Saturday two hours before kickoff. The winner will be announced on the videoboard at Neyland Stadium (for home games) and on Tennessee Athletics social media channels.

Each winner receives a $500 Food City gift card.

"University of Tennessee fans have their own unique way of celebrating Big Orange game days," Food City President and Chief Executive Officer Steven C. Smith said. "We invite you to stop by your local Food City and stock up on all of your gameday supplies. And don't forget to submit photos and videos of your Volgating celebration—that's like tailgating, but with a Tennessee twist."

The "At Home Volgater of the Game" is presented by Food City, Coca-Cola, WVLT-TV and the Vol Network.

Headquartered in Abingdon, Virginia, K-VA-T Food Stores (Food City's parent company) operates 134 retail supermarkets throughout southeast Kentucky, southwest Virginia, east Tennessee, Chattanooga and north Georgia.
