O’Charley’s rolls out fourth-annual fundraising initiative for military families

Now through Veterans Day, guests can support families of fallen soldiers

NASHVILLE, TN — O’Charley’s Restaurant and Bar, the classic American restaurant with locations across 17 states, rolled out its fourth annual partnership with The Folded Flag Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of fallen service members.

Now through Veterans Day (Nov. 11), each guest who donates $5 on their dine-in check will receive a $5 voucher toward a future in-store purchase. The Folded Flag Foundation gives 100 percent of all public donations directly to the scholarship recipients.

“Thanks to the generosity of our guests, $390,000 has been donated to The Folded Flag Foundation over the past three years,” said Craig Barber, O’Charley’s president. “O’Charley’s cares deeply about military families, and it is an honor to partner with our guests to give back to the families of those brave women and men who gave the ultimate sacrifice.”

In addition, O’Charley’s will once again offer veterans and active duty service members a free dine-in only meal on Veterans Day (Nov. 11). O’Charley’s also offers a military discount of 10 percent off all year long.

“We are grateful for the strong partnership with O’Charley’s and the ability to work together for another year honoring the legacy of our nation’s fallen,” said John Coogan, president of The Folded Flag Foundation. “With the generous support of O’Charley’s and its guests, Folded Flag is able to advance our mission of providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military and government personnel who have lost their lives defending our country and freedom.”
