TOWNSEND, TN - Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont needs volunteers on Volunteer Work Day, Saturday, December 1, 2018. Community members of all ages and ability levels are welcome to attend and enjoy a day in the Smokies.

Volunteer Work Day is a long-standing tradition at Tremont Institute. Volunteers arrive at 9:00 am and spend the day helping Tremont with a variety of projects on campus. Projects include clearing ditches, spreading gravel, stacking firewood, washing windows, trail maintenance, raking leaves, and more. Outdoor and indoor projects will be available.
To say thank you for your hard work, you will be treated to a homemade lunch served in Tremont’s dining hall.
The event will take place on Tremont’s campus in Great Smoky Mountains National Park at 9275 Tremont Road, Townsend, TN 37882.
To participate in Volunteer Work Day, please register online at gsmit.org. Registration is required. Deadline to register is November 14, 2018.
