Local high school teacher & mother of 2 remains undefeated in the MMA cage
MARYVILLE, TN -- Olivia “Liv” Parker, Heritage High School teacher, coach and mother of two will put her undefeated Mixed Martial Arts record on the line when she faces off against Tracie Starks at “Fight Night at the Shed” presented by Valor Fights.
Liv Parker has become somewhat of a legend around town as she has shattered the norm, by not only losing over 130 pounds in route to a successful MMA career, but also by doing it at 35 years old, with two small children, a husband and a full time job.
As a former local basketball and track star at William Blount High School in Maryville, Tennessee, Parker looks to build on her local lore as she competes for the first time in her home town.
“Fight Night at The Shed” presented by Valor Fights, will be held on Friday night, June 30, 2017. It will be hosted at “The Shed Smokehouse and Juke Joint” which is the entertainment venue of Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson in Maryville, Tennessee.
Tickets for the event can be purchased online at smh-d.com for $30. Weigh-ins will take place Thursday night in conjunction with “Bike Night” and will be open to everyone at no charge.
Parker trains out of Knoxville Martial Arts Academy in South Knoxville alongside top ranked UFC star Ovince Saint Preux, where she is undefeated as an amateur fighter, and is part of the largest team of female MMA fighters in the state.
