Covenant Therapy Centers offer two free post-race clinics

While medical care will be provided during the 2017 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon, unexpected aches, pains or other physical concerns can occur — and linger – after the race ends.

For those participants with bothersome aches, pains, sprains, blisters or other race-related medical concerns, Covenant Therapy Centers will offer two free Post-Race Injury Clinics with orthopedic and sports injury specialists.

Appointments are not required. Participants in the marathon, half-marathon, 5K and marathon relay events need to bring photo identification and bib number to one of the following clinics:

Tuesday, April 4 – 3-5 p.m.
Parkwest Therapy Center – Fort Sanders West
200 Fort Sanders West Blvd., Building 1, Suite 201
Knoxville, TN 37922
(865) 531-5710

Tuesday, April 4 – 3-5 p.m.
Fort Sanders Therapy Center Downtown
Newland Professional Building
2001 Laurel Ave., Suite 504
Knoxville, TN 37916
(865) 331-1300

In addition to providing the walk-in clinics, Covenant therapy staff members will provide therapeutic stretching and immediate medical care at both the Neyland Stadium finish line and Pilot Flying J post-race party on race day.

The professionals of Covenant Therapy Centers are experienced at providing sports injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation. For more information, call 865-541-4500 or visit www.covenanttherapy.com.
