SEVIERVILLE, TN — Starting Sunday and running through most of next week, the Sevierville Convention Center will be hosting the largest souvenir & gift expo in the United States – the International Gift Exposition in the Smokies.
In its 15th year, the show has grown from 272 booths and 3,000 buyers to including more than 1,200 booths with an expected attendance this year of around 10,000.
As more and more manufacturers begin to move manufacturing to the United States, the organizers of IGES are also experiencing a growing demand from buyers for handcrafted and Made-in-America products. Due to this demand and a shift in the marketplace, this year’s event will especially focus on handcrafted and Made-in-America products, including a special section dedicated to these exhibitor groups. Additionally, all handcrafted and Made-in-America exhibitors will have signage displayed, making them easy for buyers to locate.
Event hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
