Local author Carol Anne Crowe Phillips recently published her first book, a romance novel entitled Follow Your Heart: Book I. It is the first book in a series.

Follow Your Heart is set mostly in Wyoming. The cover photo was taken near the setting by another East Tennessee native who is a close friend of the author. The photographer was traveling in the Wyoming area at the same time the book was being written.

Phillips was born and raised in Kingston and has lived in Tennessee her entire life. She is a graduate of Roane County High School and Roane State Community College. In addition to being an author, she is a wife and homeschooling mother. She began writing at a young age.
