Fashion Camp offered to adolescent girls in Knoxville
KNOXVILLE – A Fashion Camp is being offered to girls between the ages of 9 and 12 at The Pinnacle at Turkey Creek. The weeklong camp will provide an opportunity for fashion campers to learn self-confidence, organizational skills, design, physical fitness, etiquette and more. The weeklong camp sessions begin the weeks of July 1 through August 2. Campers can choose to participate in 1 of the 5 weeks offered and facilitated by Sherry Ailor, of Focus Image Coaching.
“This is an opportunity for girls who are at such an impressionable age to learn life skills including etiquette, self-confidence, respect for others and not to mention some pretty good fashion sense,” says Ailor, a certified etiquette instructor and image coach for more than 16 years.
The camp will bring a wide array of hands-on instruction, education and fun for campers including:
• How to properly make introductions
• YOUR unique beauty with 2013 Ms. Tennessee title holder Angela Connor
• Skin and hair care
• Make-up application
• Careers in the fashion industry
• Runway modeling and photo shoots
• Ideas for expressing yourself through room décor
