24th annual Auto Show set for February 22-24, 2013 with new vendors and car giveaway

KNOXVILLE -- Car enthusiasts can enjoy new vendors and the latest models in cars, trucks and SUVs when the 25th annual Knoxville News Sentinel Auto Show, presented by ORNL Federal Credit Union, returns to the Knoxville Convention Center February 22-24, 2013. With more than 100 participating dealerships displaying models from the leading manufacturers, the Auto Show is a no-pressure, one-stop-shopping approach to finding your next vehicle.

East Tennesseans will enjoy some of the most elite automotive brands at the 2013 show, including vehicles by BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Nissan, Scion, Smart Car, Subaru and Toyota. With premiere manufacturers and some of the newest makes and models under one roof, attendees can enjoy the latest automotive industry trends at East Tennessee's largest new car showcase, in addition to individual exhibitor booths from a variety of entertainment, insurance, travel and service business vendors.

Not only will attendees get the chance to view and experience top of the line vehicles, they will also be eligible to walk away from the Auto Show with some exclusive prizes. This year, the News Sentinel and WBIR-TV Channel 10 will offer one lucky guest the chance to win $25,000 toward the purchase of a new car at participating dealers. Attendees can enter to win the $25,000 Grand Prize Giveaway at the show, as well as register to win one of many door prizes, including hourly giveaways.

The Auto Show will also offer special admission days in 2013 for attendees throughout the weekend. On Friday, seniors (ages 65+) will receive free admission at the show. Saturday offers a special BOGO opportunity for attendees, where every ticket purchased at the door will receive an additional free ticket. Sunday is Family Fun Day, with free admission for all moms. Discounted tickets can also be purchased in advance online – adult (ages 13+) advance tickets are just $4.00 when purchased at Knoxautoshow.com. Adults tickets (ages 13 – 64 years old) are $8 at the door, seniors are $6 (ages 65+) at the door and children (ages 12 and younger) have free admission. Tickets are valid all show days.
