The Price of Peace, a novel by Knoxville author James B. Johnston, is a finalist for ForeWord Reviews 2012 Book of the Year Awards in historical fiction.
The novel tells the story of Gráinne O'Connor, a widow, charged with the murder of two IRA volunteers who were freed from prison under the 1998 Belfast Peace Agreement. In this legal thriller, the key prosecution witness is the man responsible for a bombing that killed Gráinne’s husband and child.
