Louisville, TN - The Town of Louisville is hosting a Great American Cleanup event on Saturday, April 13. The Town is partnering with Keep Blount Beautiful and the Fort Loudon Lake Association. Cleanup activities will include parks, lakefront and roads within the Town of Louisville. Coordination for the event will be provided by the Town of Louisville's Recreation & Beautification Committee.

All volunteers should meet at the Louisville Town Hall at 8:30 AM for signup, assignments, instruction, equipment and supplies. Volunteers are requested to bring work gloves if they have them. All other equipment and supplies will be furnished by Keep Blount Beautiful, the Fort Loudon Lake Association and the Town of Louisville. Everyone will return to the Louisville Town Hall by 12:00 Noon for lunch, wrap up and group photographs. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers by the Town of Louisville.
Areas included in the Louisville Cleanup will be Beal Park lakeshore and adjacent George's Creek TVA access, Poland Creek Campground lakeside and adjacent TVA access, Louisville Landing Marina area, Louisville Point Park lakeside and sections of Topside Road and Louisville Road.
Representatives of Keep Blount Beautiful will be available at the event to provide information and signup for the Adopt-a-Mile program in Blount County. Volunteers wishing to participate in this program are encouraged to visit with KBB at this event to learn all details and signup for this important program.
