First Friday Art Exhibit - Emporium Center Balcony

The Arts & Culture Alliance will present a new group exhibition featuring six regional artists opening Friday, July 6, at 5:00 PM in the Balcony of the Emporium Center.
• Evelyn M. Bryant (Townsend) – Figurative and whimsical equine sculptures
• Dawn Hawkins (Powell) – Acrylic and watercolor abstracts; www.thruthelookingglassmurals.com
• J. Austin Jennings (Dayton, OH) – A combination of bold acrylic paint and cut-paper collage that takes mixed media to a new level; http://jaustinjennings.blogspot.com
• Randy Jennings (Dayton, OH) – Black and white images created with Holga "toy cameras;" http://holgarts-world.blogspot.com and http://2-artists.com
• Mary Klopfer (Fort Wayne, IN) – Charcoal and graphite drawings
• Işik Sönmez (Crossville) – Oil on canvas with a palette knife
The group exhibition will be displayed in the Balcony at the Emporium Center, 100 S. Gay Street, from July 6-27, 2012.
An opening reception will take place as part of First Friday activities on July 6 from 5:00-9:00 PM with complimentary hors d'oeuvres.
