Fall Juried Show Presents Tennessee Artists

KNOXVILLE – Original art by more than 40 Tennessee artists will be exhibited by the Arts & Culture Alliance. A magnificent art show, "The Fall Juried Show: October Brushstrokes," will feature oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, photography, and mixed media. Exhibiting artists are member of the Tennessee Artists Association (TAA).

The Emporium Center will host the show from October 7-28, 2011. As part of First Friday activities, an opening reception will be held on October 7 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Show awards will be presented at 6:00 p.m.

"This is TAA's third show at the Emporium Center, and we are very excited about the opportunity to present the breadth and quality of Tennessee artists' works represented by our members," says Lil Clinard and her co-chair Steve Black.

Founded in 1974, TAA currently has 55 current members. The Association encourages each individual artist to grow and develop through fellowship with other artists, educational programs, opportunities to exhibit and sell art, and to serve the community through classes. Membership in TAA is open to anyone eighteen years and older who is a resident of the state of Tennessee. For more information, visit www.tnartists.org.
