Brown Bag, Green Book Program Series to Show Environmental Videos
Pack a lunch or grab something from a downtown restaurant and head on over to the Brown Bag, Green Book event on Wednesday, December 7 at the East Tennessee History Center.
This month's unique program will be a screening of short environmental videos. Some are funny and all will be thought-provoking, followed by discussion. Popcorn will be served.
The moderator will be Glenn Walter, a Knoxville attorney and president-elect of Friends of the Library. Hot apple cider will be served at a reception following the discussion.
"The videos are really thought-provoking and entertaining, but they won't take up the whole hour," Program Coordinator Emily Ellis, says. "We want everyone to have a chance to visit and network and talk about all the important issues we've been discussing during the year."
The event is conducted by Knox County Public Library and the City of Knoxville. It starts at 12 noon at the East Tennessee History Center, 601 South Gay Street. The public is invited to join the conversation.
