Knoxville’s beloved series of festive events known as Christmas in the City began Friday, Nov. 18, with Comcast Christmas at Chilhowee at Chilhowee Park.

Comcast Christmas at Chilhowee marks Santa’s local premiere! After the official tree-lighting ceremony, Santa will take pictures with kids at the park’s historic bandstand. Guests can also make crafts with The Muse, enjoy treats from Krispy Kreme and Kilwin’s, and take hayrides around the park and Lake Ottosee, which will be lighted for the holidays.

Comcast Christmas at Chilhowee hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is free, and the event will happen rain or shine.
